The New SCRUB Predator II Mountainboard
The Scrub Predator II is a new and improved recreational, downhill Mountainboard. Scrub completely re-designed the deck and graphic design for this model year. The boards stance is now longer and lower to give the most stable ride for kiting or downhill riding. The Scrub Predator II Mountainboard is really changes the way we view wood composite Mountainboards of today. Offering riders affordable performance with all the bell and whistles of an ultra-high end Pro boards. The multi-positional alloy channel trucks, which incorporate medium stiffness elastomers, will have you speeding down any terrain, while cushioning your ride so you can concentrate on your next trick!
The new Scrub rims feature a five spoke design made from Nylon and Fiber with a wider stance for a large foot-print and better stability. The deck-shape is more ergonomic compared to its predecessors while also saving weight. The Predator II features a deck made of a wood composite material giving it great strength with maximum flexibility. This space age edge construction gives the board the performance of lightweight full composite which until now was unheard of wood Mountainboards.
Scrub broke the mold and completely revamped their popular Velcro comfort bindings to make them even better. The Predator II bindings now offer an even more comfortable ride but maintain its super secure nature giving it increased performance of yester year models. The Scrub Board weight is 7.8kg or 17.2 lbs. with the 8” tire option. The weight increases to 20 lbs. with the 9” tire option. Like all SCRUB Mountainboards a full tool kit and instructions is supplied with each board The Predator II offers class leading performance for kite cruising or downhill freeriding.

The kingpin is encased with bushes where it meets the truck to prevent wear and ensure smooth operation. It can basically be used to fit to any deck although you might need to add a few extra holes. Adjustments for stiffness can be made by swapping elastomers or changing spring position. No playing with washers to fix wobble. |
